Needless to say...it’s been a busy week, but a great week!!  Today was our HUGE garage sale fundraiser.  All of the money raised from this event is used to send kids to camp this summer!!!  And it was a HUGE success!

Last night, Jessie received a call from someone wanting directions to the church because they wanted to drop off a few chairs to sell...this is what appeared!  Plus, two more truck loads...WOW!!

In addition, we had this room full of donations to sell!

A big thanks to everyone who donated, helped set up, and purchased at the event.  We raised over $2000 -- enough to give TWENTY kids camp scholarships!!!!  Yay!!  And, we had this much stuff leftover to give to another local ministry!

After the garage sale, we headed over to Alajuela for Mega Reu!!!  Mega Reu is what they call All-City Club here.  There were hundreds of kids from all over San Jose, representing all four components of Young Life:  International Schools (what I’m involved in), Neighborhood Ministry, Capernum (kids with disabilities), and YoungLives (ministry with single moms and their kids).  So much joy under that tent!  And kids here LOVE to dance!!  So fun seeing kids experience life to the full!
